The event gave university students, graduates, teachers and trainers, the opportunity to learn about social entrepreneurship and be inspired. During the Career Fair organized by NEU on 25 and 26 April 2019, the Go Social Cy project had a booth with material to raise awareness around social entrepreneurship and its potential along with providing info regarding the project from 10:00 – 15:00. A presentation also took place on 26 April 2019 from 10:100 – 12:00. Opportunities for participation in the EU funded project ‘Go Social Cy’ were shared.
Aycan Garip, the project coordinator said on the day “We would like to thank Near East University for their warm hospitality as they hosted us in their Accessible Activity Centre. It was great to see so many students interested in social entrepreneurship and how they can add meaning to their work and business endeavors”.
